On 01 January 2025, the new (film) year kicks off immediately with a stunner, namely Bird by Andrea Arnold. She is one of the most important British filmmakers of our time. Intense and uncompromising, she shows workers, outcasts and young people, combining the bleak realities of life with sunny joie de vivre. On the occasion of this release, we are screening all her previous fiction feature films: Red Road (2006), Fish Tank (2009), Wuthering Heights(2011) and American Honey (2016).
