This Is My Place is a fictional documentary about the itinerant life and conceptual practice of artist David Lamelas. Through conversations with curator Carla Acevedo-Yates, the film retraces the artist’s life defined by migration between cultures and countries. This is My Place reveals how these experiences shaped Lamelas’ artistic journey, which for decades has centered on explorations of time and place.  In the presence of David Lamelas.
