VIDEO CONFÉRENCE
The Laboratory for Antiquated Video Systems.
EN ⁄ 60 ⁄ ENTRÉE LIBRE
Since the invention of consumer video in 1965, instant production of moving images has brought about disruptive changes in mass communication and art – as well as our profound dependence on the electronics industry. The Laboratory for Antiquated Video Systems at ZKM Karlsruhe is dedicated to preserving equipment and knowledge from a bygone era, to archive and exhibit early video art in particular. This video lecture illustrates how keeping obsolete devices is also a political act.
Conférence en anglais. Entrée gratuite.
