Le symposium Marcel Broodthaers & Cinema : Poèmes cinématographiques, Moving Scripts, organisé en collaboration avec l'Université d'Anvers, CINEMATEK, WIELS, Cinea et la Succession Marcel Broodthaers, s'adresse aussi bien à un large public qu'aux connaisseurs. Le 17 juin, un programme de films offre l'occasion de se familiariser avec certains des titres connus et moins connus de Broodthaers. Les 17 et 18 juin, une douzaine de conférenciers internationaux discuteront son unique pratique cinématographique, les interactions entre ses films et les autres arts, son cinéma performatif ainsi que le contexte socioculturel. Le caractère littéraire/poétique de nombreux films de Broodthaers sera particulièrement exploré.
