« C’est l’histoire d’une mère qui revient vivre chez sa fille après la mort de son mari, avec piano, bagages et meubles. La fille n’arrive pas à écrire son livre érotique malgré les conseils judicieux de sa mère, qui contrairement à elle, en connaît un rayon dans ce domaine. Et comme c’est bientôt trop encombré pour elles, il faut donc déménager et vendre. C’est alors que la ronde des visiteurs commence. Et que l’histoire bascule »^[1]

Info restauration :: Chantal Akerman's film Demain on déménage (2003) was restored in 2024 by the Royal Film Archive of Belgium – CINEMATEK and L'Immagine Ritrovata (Bologna), in collaboration with the Chantal Akerman Foundation and with the support of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

The work was carried out using the original 35 mm negative preserved in the collections of the Royal Belgian Film Archive, where the film was digitised in 4K. The restoration was supervised by Sabine Lancelin and Marilyn Watelet. The sound was restored from the original DAT (digital audio tape) recordings.
